Goal Analysis

 

 

The Goal Statement for this instructional unit is that all Technology Cadre teachers participate in ongoing professional development that supports innovative instructional practices.

 

Ten teachers from the Lyford CISD Technology Cadre will participate in the digital badges incentive by implementing instructional technology resource into their classroom instruction.

 

The desired performance is for teachers to demonstrate an active participation role in the ongoing professional development being offered in the school district and the regional education service center. The goal is for each teacher to claim 15 badges by the end of the current school year. 

 

A rubric will be provided to measure the level of technology integration according to the SAMR model. Each teacher that claims 5 badges will receive iPad mirroring software as well as additional opportunities to earn hardware and a guaranteed technology conference registration spot. 

 

The training sessions can be taken online as self paced courses with the option to request a face to face training session for those who need additional support.

4. Book Creator

 

The estimated time for completion of each badge is approximately 20 minutes. This includes the multimedia tutorial and the hands on practice.
